Hydra Fill® Dermal Fillers
Background
Hydra Fill® Dermal Therapy is a biodegradable,
hyaluronic acid which is a protein that provides structural support
to the skin and gives it its youthful tone and suppleness. Natural
hyaluronic acid and collagen is gradually lost from the skin as
time passes, leading to facial lines and wrinkles. Because it works
from within your skin, Hydra fill® can make an immediate and
noticeable difference to the way you look.
Hydra Fill® Softline and Max
One way to treat wrinkles and lines in the face is to inject
extra hyaluronic acid to replenish the levels and hydrate the skin.
As a result skin volume and tone are increased and lines are
reduced. The range is fully FDA approved and has an excellent
safety record.
The Hydra Fill® range contains hyaluronic acid like
that found naturally in the skin, no allergy test is required and
they are suitable for all skin types. Facial wrinkles, frown lines,
crows feet and lipstick lines are most commonly treated. Lips can
also be enhanced or evened out.

Do the injections hurt?
Treatment with Hydra Fill® causes only mild
discomfort. The needle that is used is very fine and a local
anaesthetic cream can be applied to the area to be treated. A local
'dental block' can also be used when treating the lips and lines
from the nose to the mouth. This is a very simple procedure and
makes the treatment pain free!
How many treatments will I need?
Hydra Fill® does not provide a permanent correction to the skin
contours. The product, over time is completely absorbed by the
body. Repeat treatments are usually needed about every 9 - 12
months to maintain the effect. In some patients treatments in the
lip area lasts over 12 months.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects of this treatment are rare. Rarely, a transient
numbness or tenderness may develop in the treated area. Mild
bruising may occur. If you are prone to cold sores at the injection
site, treatment may bring out another eruption. Finally, any
injection carries a small risk of infection. If you are pregnant or
breast feeding the treatment is not recommended.
Collagen
Background
Collagen Replacement Therapy (using Zyderm® and Zyplast®
Collagen Implant) helps to replace your natural collagen, which is
a protein that provides structural support to the skin and gives it
its youthful tone and suppleness. Natural collagen is gradually
lost from the skin as time passes, leading to facial lines and
wrinkles. Because it works from within your skin, Collagen can make
an immediate and noticeable difference to the way you look.
Collagen for furrows, wrinkles and smile lines
Until the 1970's it wasn't possible for practitioners to restore
damaged collagen. Now, both Zyderm® and Zyplast® collagen are
available. Made of highly purified bovine collagen these materials
can be injected into your skin to supplement your body's own
collagen and fill certain lines and furrows. Facial wrinkles, frown
lines, crows feet and lipstick lines are most commonly treated.
Lips can also be enhanced or evened out.
Do the injections hurt?
Collagen contains a small amount of lignocaine, a local
anaesthetic and therefore most patients find that the injections
only cause mild, temporary discomfort.
How many treatments will I need?
Collagen does not provide a permanent correction to the skin
contours. Repeat treatments are usually needed every 3-6 months
over a 12-month period. Clinical trials report that some patients,
who have had treatment over 12 months, are only requiring further
treatments once or twice a year.
Possible side effects
Side effects of this treatment are rare. Over 1.2 million people
worldwide have been successfully treated with Collagen since 1976.
Approximately 2-3% of people are sensitive to Collagen. A simple
skin test is performed at the initial consultation and 4 weeks
later you can continue with treatment if there are no skin
reactions. Alternative dermal fillers can be recommended should you
be sensitive to Collagen.
Rarely, a transient numbness or tenderness may develop in the
treated area. Mild bruising may occur. If you are prone to cold
sores at the injection site, treatment may bring out another
eruption. Finally, any injection carries a small risk of infection.
If you are pregnant or breast feeding the treatment is not
recommended.

I look '10 years younger' and feel full of confidence due to
your care. THANK YOU.
I was so depressed with my deep acne scarring but after you did
your magic my skin is looking fantastic, (no bruising at all -
which is a first). My skin with make-up is now almost perfectly
smooth - I'm over the moon with the results. You've done an
outstanding job and have really made a difference to how I feel
about my skin.
I'm very, very happy with my Hydra Fill, it's lovely and
natural, I'm really delighted. Thank you.
I'm delighted with my lips, it has been over 6 months now and
the Hydra Fill just lasts and lasts and lasts. I still haven't got
any of those vertical lines that I hated. I think it's
brilliant.
I am thrilled with the results; I can't believe how well it has
worked. The lines are practically gone and it has given me a huge
lift. I would definitely have it done again.
I am absolutely thrilled with the results of my Radiesse; it is
perfect. Thank you.
The reason I came to you is because my wife had Collagen
treatment here and was so pleased with the results. I didn't
realise it was for men too.
